Cooked apples and pears with honey, cinnamon and dates

For four people:

  • 4 apples
  • 4 pears
  • 100 g orange honey
  • cinnamon
  • 400 g Israeli dates
  • 50 g raisins


Peel the apples and pears and remove pit. Cut the fruit flesh into small cubes.

Pour about 200 cl of water in a saucepan and as soon as it begins to boil, pour the pears, the apples, the orange honey, a teaspoon of cinnamon, the raisins and the dates without pit. Cook on low heat for few minutes, until everything is soft.

Now remove it from the heat, let it cool and serve at room temperature.
